Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your purchase and use of Seshat — the self-hosted appliance and the managed cloud service. By buying or using Seshat, you agree to these Terms. Questions? Email pratik@seshat.fun.

The service

• Appliance — a one-time purchase of a self-hosted package (ERPNext plus the Seshat MCP layer, guardrails, and skill pack) that you run on your own infrastructure.
• Managed cloud — a subscription where we host and operate a Seshat instance on your subdomain.

License

ERPNext and other open-source components are licensed under their own licenses (ERPNext: GPLv3); nothing here limits your rights under those licenses. The Seshat-authored components (the MCP layer, guardrails, skill pack, and packaging) are licensed to you for your own business use under our commercial license and may not be resold or offered as a competing hosted service. Your one-time purchase includes a bounded support and update window as described at checkout.

Payments & refunds

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record, who handle billing and applicable taxes. Subscription fees are billed in advance and recur until cancelled. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact pratik@seshat.fun.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for your own AI agent, its credentials, and the actions you direct it to take.
• Seshat's AI guardrails create drafts only; you are responsible for reviewing and submitting all financial documents before they post to your books.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and for complying with the laws that apply to your business.
• You must not misuse the service, attempt to breach its security, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Warranty disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seshat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or financial misstatement arising from your or your agent's use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time; for the managed cloud, cancel your subscription to end future billing. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination of a managed instance, you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period.

Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the "last updated" date. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
