This Privacy Policy explains how Seshat ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, buy the self-hosted appliance, or use the managed cloud service. Questions? Email pratik@seshat.fun.

Information we collect

• Contact details — name and email you provide when you buy, book a demo, or contact support.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record). We do not see or store your full card details.
• Usage data — basic analytics about how the website is used (pages, device, referrer).
• Your business data — for the managed cloud, the records you keep in your ERP (invoices, contacts, inventory). For the self-hosted appliance, this stays entirely on your own infrastructure and we have no access to it.

How we use it

• To deliver the appliance download, license key, or provision your managed cloud instance.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations.

Your ERP data & your AI agent

Seshat is bring-your-own-agent: your coding agent connects to your ERP using your own credentials. We do not send your business data to any AI model — the agent you choose does that, under your control. For the managed cloud, each customer runs in an isolated instance; we access your data only as needed to operate, back up, or support the service.

Third parties we rely on

• Dodo Payments — payments & tax (Merchant of Record).
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Cal.com — demo scheduling.
• Cloud infrastructure providers used to host managed instances.

Data retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time. To exercise these, email pratik@seshat.fun.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
